The King's Kids Learn Young About Sharing the Message of Jesus
In what has become a favorite tradition of the Christmas season, the MVCF "King's Kids" presented their annual Christmas show to a packed audience. The two-night engagement was at Pacific Beach Middle School, and was called "All I Want for Christmas."
The 25 children involved performed a number of songs in the show, which was set in a department store. The young actors did a great job of showing that the meaning of Christmas has very little to do with toys and Santa, and everything to do with the ultimate gift: Christ's love. The directors, volunteers, and casts are to be commended for pulling off an amazingly intricate production in a top-notch, professional manner. These kids had talent and heart to spare!
The cast for 2006 included Shae Lamb, Kiani Nelson, Riley Jo Lamb, Kyler Waitley, Danica Waitley, Fiorella Ferretti, Zach Smith, Alyssa Varonfakis, Samantha Scott, Cheyenne Mercer, Conner Lamb, Allyson Worley, Darby Lee, Raina Clark, Veronica Newcomb, Ashley Worley, Teagan Lamb, Asia Barrett, Armone Barrett, Dylan Beach, C.J. Cecil, Alexis Eslava, Ruby Hays, Amber Shorter, & Ariane Shorter.
The King's Kids, under the direction of Tammi Waitley and Lisa Smith, perform at a number of events and venues throughout the year, including Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, Legoland, The Billy Graham Mission San Diego, the San Diego Wild Animal Park Festival of Lights, and the Relay for Life.
