(SCCN) -- January 9, 2007 -- Mission Valley Christian Fellowship will begin its women's Bible study February 13. The study, led by Sandra Giovinetti, is entitled "He is the Great Shepherd."
"It's all about Jesus' committment to us--He's the Good Shepherd," says Giovinetti. "He lays down his life for His sheep. We're going to focus on Psalms 23 and why those scriptures are so germaine to everyday life, and our walk with Jesus."

This is the day the Lord hath made; he calls the hours his own.
Let heaven rejoice, let earth be glad, and praise surround the throne.
Therefore encourage one another
and build each other up,
just as in fact you are doing

I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope. Romans 15:13
Studies will be every Tuesday at Serra Mesa Christian Fellowship and will include child care (and yes--snacks!) at both the morning and evening studies (10 am and 7pm). The studies and homework will be available on MVCF's website.
Recent studies are already online including the "Made He a Woman" workshops, "Attributes of a Godly Woman: Pleasing the Heart of God," and a study on the book of Philippians. Workbooks and CDs are available for sale at MVCF's bookstore as well.
"Miss Sandra" is issuing an invitation for everyone to join the women of the church for the upcoming study. "We're also going to look at the life of David. This man, who was after God's own heart, went from tending sheep in the pasture to shepherding the people. God used Him and God has a plan to use each of us as well."
